Those with weakened immune system are more susceptible to COVID-19 infection and complications, making it paramount to reinforce the message that good nutrition is essential to build resilience and immunity. Also how to handle the dead bodies of suspected or infected cases out of hospital. On 13th May 2020, Dr Archana Mishra was a speaker at Medical Learning Hub (MLH) platform who walked through some commmon medical myths and facts about COVID-19 related to containing the infection and disease in the community. WHO guidelines were highlighted and how they should be practiced in the HCP community to decrease the numbers of infection and spread of disease. The discussion was about facts that are helpful to increase awareness.
Rastriya Poshan Maah
This year on the occasion of Rastriya Poshan Maah Sep. 2020 the department of Clinical nutrition and NSS unit of MGM School of Biomedical sciences have organized E-poster competition and recipe completion. The themes for e- poster were1. Encouraging healthy eating habits in children, 2. Management of SAM, 3. Nutrition during pre and post pregnancy and for recipe competition the theme was Complementary feeding recipes for age group 6 months to 1 year old. Total we have received 38 enteries for e poster and 32 for recipes. The judges were Dr.Vibha Hasija (Asst.Prof. Dept. of Nutrition, Nirmala Niketan) and Mrs.Harshada Thakur (teaching assistant and SRF, Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences, Pune).

Dr. Anirban Chakraborty, Professor and Deputy Director, NUCSER, Mangalore, Dr. Chetana Schidanandan, Assoc Professor & Principle Scientist CSIR- IGIB, New Delhi and Dr. Patrick Sips, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences, Department of Biomolecular Medicine, Ghent University Hospital, Belgium were the key speakers of the webinar.
The webinar was supervised and conducted by by Dr. Himanshu Gupta and was also telecasted live on youtube (https://youtu.be/AiO4KJrQuSM) which was attended by various participants. Total registration were 492 views as on date.

The Department of Hospital Administration of MGM School of Biomedical Sciences, conducted the webinar on Role of hospital administrator in Covid- 19 Pandemic. The webinar was arranged with the motive to understand the role of hospital administrators, the torch bearers, in covid 19 and to get acquainted with the current scenario of hospital industry.
Speaker of the event were Mr. Rabindranath Biswas & Dr. A. Shyam Prasad. Interactive question answer session panellists were Dr. Philomena Isaac and Mrs. Purnima Bhoi from MGM Hospital, Kamothe, Navi Mumbai, who also shared their views about the webinar and the current pandemic.
Total number of participants were 161 out of which few were students, some were frontline workers and healthcare faculties from various organizations.
