Programs Eligibility Criteria
Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics (MND)
  • Candidates must have passed Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics / B.Sc Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours) / B.Sc Food and Nutrition (Honours) on regular mode from a recognised University.
  • Admission on the basis of entrance exams by respective University.
  • Post Graduate entrance criteria requires compulsory registration with NCAHP.
M.Sc. Medical Physics (MMP)
  • Candidates who have passed final year B.Sc. Science stream examination with Physics as a major subject with 60% aggregate marks.
M.Sc. Health Informatics (MHIMT)
  • Any graduate in Health Science (MBBS / BAHS / BHMS / BDS / Nursing / Allied Health Sciences), Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent with minimum 50% marks.
  • Candidates without health-science background must complete bridging modules in Healthcare Operations, IT Systems, Data & Electronic Health Records, Health Informatics or Medical Terminology.
Master of Medical Laboratory Science (MMLS)
  • Candidates must have passed Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (B.MLS).
  • Admission on the basis of entrance exams by respective University.
  • Post Graduate entrance criteria requires compulsory registration with NCAHP.
Master of Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology (M.AOTT)
  • Candidates must have passed B.AOTT (minimum 3 years) on regular mode.
  • Admission on the basis of entrance exams by respective University.
  • Post Graduate entrance criteria requires compulsory registration with NCAHP.
Master of Optometry (M.Optom)
  • Candidates must have passed B.Optom on regular mode from a recognized university.
  • Admission on the basis of entrance exams by respective University.
  • Post Graduate entrance criteria requires compulsory registration with NCAHP.
Master of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology (M.MRIT)
  • Candidates must have passed B.MRIT / B.Sc Radiology & Imaging Technology / B.Sc Radiography / B.Sc Radiography & Imaging Technology or equivalent.
  • OR B.Sc Life Sciences with PG Diploma/Advance Diploma in Radiology (2 yrs).
  • Admission on the basis of entrance exams by respective University.
  • Post Graduate entrance criteria requires compulsory registration with NCAHP.
Master of Dialysis Therapy (M.DT)
  • Candidates must have passed B.DTT on regular mode from recognized university.
  • Admission on the basis of entrance exams by respective University.
  • Post Graduate entrance criteria requires compulsory registration with NCAHP.
Master of Advance Care Paramedic (MACP)
  • Candidates must have passed BEMT (Paramedics) on regular mode from recognized university.
  • Admission on the basis of entrance exams by respective University.
  • Post Graduate entrance criteria requires compulsory registration with NCAHP.
M.Sc. Cardiac Care Technology (MCCT)
  • Candidates must have passed B.Sc CCT on regular mode from recognized university.

POST GRADUATE PROGRAMS (Biomedical)

Programs Eligibility Criteria
M.Sc. Medical Biotechnology (MBT)
  • Candidates must have passed B.Sc. in any discipline of Life Sciences, Biosciences, Bachelor's degree in any of Biological Sciences, MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, B.Pharm, B.Tech (Biotechnology) or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
M.Sc. Medical Genetics (MGEN)
  • As a minimum eligibility criteria, aspiring candidates are needed to have attained a B.Sc. in any discipline of Life Sciences, Biosciences, Bachelor's degree in any of Physics, Biological Sciences, MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, B.Pharm, B.Tech (Biotechnology), Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
M.Sc. Molecular Biology (MMB)
  • Candidates with 50% marks in B.Sc. Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biochemistry / Genetics / Botany / Zoology / B.Sc. Nursing / MBBS / BDS or any equivalent degree in life sciences of any recognized university.
M.Sc. Clinical Embryology (MCE)
  • Candidates must have passed B.Sc. in any discipline of Life Sciences, Biosciences, Bachelor's degree in any of Biological Sciences, MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, B.Pharm, B.Tech (Biotechnology), Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Sciences, or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.

Undergraduate of Allied & Healthcare Professions Programs (AHP)

  • He/she has completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of his/her admission to the first year of the Undergraduate Allied and Healthcare Course.
  • Reservation policy for admission in diploma/under graduate/post graduate/PhD programs shall be as per the State/Centre Government norms. However, admission criteria norms of National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) shall be adopted as prescribed.
  • Up to 10% seats shall be considered for lateral entry admission in Under Graduate program, wherever in respective program is permitted.
  • Medical fitness certificate is mandatory to submit and it is to be endorsed by Government medical officer.
  • Foreign students’ admission process in Under Graduate (UG)/ Post Graduation (PG) / PhD:
    • Foreign national students intending to study UG/PG program in India shall have to take equivalence certificate of eligibility certificate from respective State Allied and Healthcare Council.
    • For Under Graduate/Post Graduation/PhD admission of foreign national students, merit list will be based on University Entrance Exam.
    • If eligibility criteria of admission is NEET appeared then the foreign national student is required to appear in NEET.
    • Verification of valid visa and valid visa duration of foreign national students to be verified by respective institution & University before enrolling students for program.
  • The admission criteria shall be updated by the Commission from time to time.
  • Admission process shall be conducted by State/Union Territory/University.

Tuition fee terms and conditions

  • Admission to MGMSBS Programme is conditional until the first-year tuition fee has been paid in full and as per MGMIHS rules.
  • Admission will be confirmed after receipt of full 1st Year Tuition fees.
  • Fee once paid is not transferable under any circumstances.
  • Loan / Scholarship if any: 1st year fees to be paid by the students on their own resources, which will be refunded if loan sanctioned & amount received in our college fee account.
  • The tuition fee must be paid at the time of admission.
  • The IInd year tuition fee must be paid within 1st month of the commencement in the consecutive year.
  • For ethical approval Dissertation / Project, the students have to pay charges separately which will be informed to the students about 15 days in advance once the protocols are approved by the SAC committee.
  • Students who fail to pay the stipulated tuition fee by the prescribed date will be put on academic suspension.
  • refund of the tuition fee will be made as a result of:
    • As per Cancellations policy made by MGMSBS, MGMIHS (in line with UGC norms)
    • Academic suspension or expulsion carried out as a disciplinary measure.
    • Withdrawals or leaves of absence from a Programme or course.
    • A change in status (e.g. citizenship) during a period of paid tuition (current term)
  • Request of extension of time for payment of fee will not be considered.
  • DD/Cheques/Cash payment will not be accepted / entertained at all unless notified in writing by the institute. All payments are in online mode only.
